I thought I would explore
brave new worlds,
since I was stuck at home.
I walked down Main Street.
Ate a childhood pizza
from the pizza store
I grew up in.
I drove down the streets
that I walked down.
Home, for now.

life is a spiral
we always come back to the same points
but though it may seem like
we are never the same…
driving down
walking down
childhood pizza
fabulous
Thank you. As always. Glad I could touch on a shareable experience.
and one day
you’ll be sitting there
reminiscing
days have gone by
you walked
you drove down
the same path that will never be the same again
Sorry if I ruined it, it was so beautiful I had to had a go at adding another little part 🙂
I’m new in the blog world, experimenting with writing in english…if you ever get the chance visit my blog, I’d love to get some feedback…
Not bad, but they key to poetry is to never add the little extra part. hahaha. But, that means good things to me that you as the reader has added something to my work. Seeing what others add is fascinating to me. I will check your stuff out. Thank you for stopping by.
You’re welcome, well I couldn’t resist…let’s say it was not an addition but just a poetic response 🙂
and a great poetric response it was! The key for me, was to leave it out, but anybody else adding what it means to them, is of course greater than any comment.
well thanks, glad you liked it…I got some more things on my blog ( I just started it) so hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy reading your poems
